In September 2022, residents competed as a team for their home, to see how many times (if any) they could conquer Everest! Mt Everest is the highest mountain on earth. The distance from Lukla in Nepal to Mount Everest summit is 85 kilometers. A typical Mount Everest expedition takes around 6-10 weeks. Our residents conquered it in less than 4. We swapped oxygen deprivation for obstructive pulmonary disease and altitude sickness for arthritis.
