Learn how to provide mental health first aid to friends, family members, co-workers and other adults.
The Blended Online Mental Health First Aid for Workplaces Course will teach you how to provide initial support to co-workers who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves, using a practical, evidence-based action plan.

What does the course include?
This course is based on the best research in Australia, developed through the expert consensus of people with lived experience of mental health problems and professionals. We cover multiple Mental health problems including:
Depression and anxiety
Psychosis
Substance use problems
Suicidal thoughts and behaviours
Panic attacks
Traumatic events
Severe psychotic states
Severe effects from alcohol or other drug use
Aggressive behaviours
Note: This course is not therapy or a support group
Who can attend this course?
This course is suitable for all employees across the healthcare sector. The blended course with online components is ideal for most workplaces, particularly where a 2-day face-to-face course is challenging.
